Oil prices edged lower on Thursday as investors weighed the potential impact of U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariffs on global economic growth. Brent crude futures were down 53 cents, or 0.8%, at $69.66 a barrel by 1210 GMT. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude fell 62 cents, or 0.9%, to $67.76 a barrel.
OPEC has refused accreditation for Reuters, Bloomberg, the New York Times, the Financial Times, and the Wall Street Journal for its meeting in Vienna, which is taking place this week.
