Oil falls more than 2% on US-China trade tensions and IEA report
Oil prices fell by more than 2% on Tuesday as trade tensions flare between the U.S. and China, the world’s two biggest economies, and after the International Energy Agency raised the prospect of increased supplies and weaker demand growth. Brent crude futures fell $1.46, to $61.86, while U.S. WTI crude was down 2.5%, at $58.03.
Average Texas gas prices trending down in recent study data
According to GasBuddy’s survey of 13,114 gas stations in Texas, the average gasoline prices in Texas have fallen 12.0 cents per gallon in the last week. According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Texas was priced at $2.18/g yesterday, while the most expensive was $5.39/g.
