Texas regulators assess $1.1 million in oil and gas penalties

The Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) assessed more than $1.1 million in enforcement penalties against operators and businesses during its latest open meeting, continuing the agency’s oversight of the state’s oil and gas industry and intrastate pipeline systems. 

Oil prices climb over 3% after Israeli strikes on Iran and Lebanon

Oil prices rose more than 3% on Monday, ‌as renewed Israeli strikes on Iran and attacks on Lebanon reduced hopes of an imminent end to the wider war.
Brent crude futures were up $3.08, or 3.3% to $96.17 a barrel as of 1108 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures were up $3.37, or 3.7%, at $93.91.
