Crude Oil prices softened in early Asian trade on Tuesday after gaining more than 2% in the previous session, as markets reacted to fresh geopolitical developments while remaining cautious about longer-term supply conditions. Brent crude slipped to around $61.96 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate traded near $57.88.
Shell PLC discovered more oil on the United States side of the Gulf of America in the Norphlet play, license partner INEOS Group Ltd said Monday. Nashville “marks INEOS’ first successful exploration well in the region”, the British diversified company said in an online statement.
