Oil Gains as Key UAE Port Gets Hit for Second Time in Three Days
Oil nudged higher as supply risks in the Middle East remained elevated following a second attack in three days on Fujairah, a vital port in the United Arab Emirates that’s just outside the Strait of Hormuz. Brent rose near $104 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate was near $101.
U.S. Natural Gas Output Hits Record as Permian, Appalachia Lead Growth
U.S. marketed natural gas production reached a record level in 2025, averaging 118.5 billion cubic feet per day, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration’s latest Natural Gas Monthly report. Production rose by 5.3 billion cubic feet per day compared with 2024 levels.
