The Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) has approved the Permian Basin Reliability plan, supporting the expansion of the largest oilfield in the US to meet the rising demand for electricity.
Wood has been contracted for the front-end engineering design (FEED) of the DeLa Express pipeline project, which will transport over 2 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day from the Permian Basin in Texas to the Gulf Coast and international markets. The 645-mile pipeline aims to reduce flaring and emissions by transporting natural gas and liquids in a single main line.
